today i'm sharing some comfy knit pants i made for my girlies as part of the peek-a-boo pattern shop spring tour!
i made the yoga girl pants, and they were a quick sew... just three pattern pieces, in fact. i'm a fan of that! the pattern comes in sizes 3 months - 12 years. i made sizes 4T and 8 with no modifications, and the sizing is right on.
the yoga girl pattern mas multiple options for length: shorts, capris, or pants. the shorts and capris will definitely be nice to have as the weather gets warmer. (that will happen eventually, right??)
if you're looking for a knits-novice-friendly pattern, i'd definitely try this one! and no serger required. you can sew knits successfully right on your regular ol' machine (i promise). i highly recommend an overlock foot - it makes for neatly finished seams that are similar to serged seams.
the designer of peek-a-boo patterns, Amy, also blogs at Nap Time Crafters, where you can find lots of inspiration and some great kid's clothing tutorials.
as you can see, my girls think that their pants are plenty comfortable for lots of silliness...
and possibly even some yoga?
make sure you check out the other stops on the peek-a-boo pattern shop spring tour!
