a (partially) handmade dorothy and cheetah brought lots of candy back to our house this halloween! but before we get to that, we had to get pumpkins...
and carve them!
which brings us to... the costumes!
B wanted to be dorothy (i suspect she was just aiming for the sparkly red shoes), and spent most of october asking me every day, "is my dress done yet?" (note: it was finally started and finished on october 29, just in time for an october 30 school halloween parade.) after i picked up a reasonably priced cheetah headband/tail set, K's fascination with all things animal print made for quick agreement to my "you should be a cheetah" suggestion.

it was a chilly evening, so we were all wearing gloves and hats by the end of our trick-or-treating, but a nice cup of hot chocolate warmed us right up when we got home. i hope your halloween was every bit as lovely as ours!
